Brands have real resonance when they’re linked to emotion. With this campaign I helped create more than a message. We created a feeling and a happy place that customers would go to in their mind when they thought of the product. Welcome to the world of Marine, a seven-year-old French girl living in the idyllic French countryside. This wholesome world was our setting for all things fromage frais and was conjured up with everything from the music to the French voiceovers and warm lighting. Marine herself was plucky and strong-willed, a subtle little tie-in to the strong bones message delivered in every ad. As a campaign vehicle, she was able to put right the wrongs in the village and show the boys how it’s done.

 

For several years this campaign ran nationally, cementing a memorable place in the minds of fiercely loyal customers. 

 

Press campaigns were used to support tactical messages throughout the campaign lifecycle. Whether that was strong bones, no artificial colours or to target the weaning market, we were able to use cues from our wholesome world to add more focus to specific product benefits.
