Formerly Iford Arts, If Opera reassessed and redefined who they were during the pandemic, emerging as a more contemporary brand with sustainability, diversity, equality and ‘opera for all’ at its heart.
The ‘If’ concept created by client immediately suggested thinking beyond opera as we know it and challenging the status quo. It was my job to ensure this bold original approach had the impactful copy and executions to back it up and cause a stir in the opera world.
Based around a series of challenging questions all beginning with ‘What if opera…?’, I created a manifesto and mission statement that were designed to engage and provoke. The words encapsulated everything this new company stood for and equipped them with the refreshing and inspiring messaging they needed across all marketing touchpoints.
